All Things May Return – “ПУНКТ796” by Brandon J Blommaert

“ПУНКТ796” (“Item 796”) is a contribution for the Special Effect – special event (Friday, January 18th, 2013 7pm) at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York, a live television show from the future inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky’s “Stalker”.

Contributors include James Duesing, Amy Lockhart, Yoshi Sodeoka, Billy Grant, Michael Bell-Smith, Ola Vasiljeva, Jacob Ciocci, Andrew Benson, Jeff Kriksciun, Chad VanGaalen, Philippe Blanchard, E*Rock, Luke Painter, Brandon Blommaert, Stu Hughes, Devin Flynn, Michael Robinson, Sabrina Ratté, Ben Coonley, and Brenna Murphy.

After a break in 2011, noisy and visual experimentations are going to resonate again during the new Visionsonic festival with live cinema among other audiovisual shows exploring relations between images and sounds. The programming ranges from a smooth movie atmosphere to an overexcited eletronic-rock including electric visual noise or images moving to the synthesizers.
