decollage.tv featured in “vE-jA: Art + Technology of Live Audio-Video”
As we didn´t mention so far “vE-jA: Art + Technology of Live Audio-Video” here on our blog it´s absolutely time to give a little review about this outstanding new vj-book. Not least because we´re featured artists!
“vE-jA” gives an overview about the worldwide VJ and Live-Audio-Video movement in the first decade of the 21st century, beginning with North America (west- and eastcoast) heading over to Europe, Japan and Australia.
Beautiful pictures of live-performances and footage, clear descriptions about VJ-software and -hardware, interviews with all featured artists and essays about the regional different scenes make this book a must-have for everybody who is involved or interested in the multifarious VJ-world.
The book (released in 2007) has been written by Xarene Eskandar (Editor) and Prisna Nuengsigkapian (Editor) and available via Amazon.com.
The book comes with a DVD including about 50 movies and clips.
