Sunday Quickie – Inner City Snail

Inner City Snail by Slinkachu, who is also the artist behind the wonderful Little People project.

It’s no little people on this, but you get the idea, don’t you?

The guy(s) behind the Advanced Beauty project have added a video-podcast on iTunes.
After presenting the (really :) beautiful motion work on the Advanced Beauty blog and the vimeo channel of Universal Everything,
the iTunes video-podcast is exclusively dedicated to the projects output.
Stay tuned!

„Advanced Beauty is an ongoing exploration of digital artworks born and influenced by sound, an ever-growing collaboration between programmers, artists, musicians, animators and architects.“
By the way – don’t miss to watch Universal Everything’s 2008 showreel!

Dr Mo again posted a short video of one of our nice meetings.
This time it took place at the great T Bar in Shoreditch and
it looks like this will also gonna be the place to be for the following meetups.

Our dear friends at CTRL in NY City have just sent out their July newsletter,
announcing an upcoming piece of software.
It’s a real time 3D application built in Max/Msp and
is code named GL-Lowrider (or Lowryder?).
The beta version is close to be released and
we can’t wait to put our dirty hands on it.
Usually those Max/Msp interfaces look kind of ugly and confusing,
but the GL Lowrider’s UI shows all the knowledge and love of good designers.

The CTRL people also have posted some very promising screenshots on flickr (link after the jump).
