“In cooperation with Onesize, I [Heerko Groefsema] worked on Volkswagen Efficiency and BlueMotionTechnologies interactive movie. While taking a thrilling ride with a roller-coaster all different efficiency and BlueMotion technologies are explained to the viewer. The viewer can decide on which subject he wants more info. This meant making a lot of different movies which will seamlessly blend together. In the movie above you can see some excerpts from the whole interactive movie.” Heerko Groefsema
Lumiskin combines immersive projection and computer vision to explore the way people behave when tracked. It visualises the kind of spaces their behaviour creates and enables a complex web of inter-personal relations.
Lumiskin is a collaboration between Mauritius Seeger (aka Dr.Mo) and Alex Haw (aka atmos) and was exhibited at ISEA09 (Belfast) in August 2009. The software was developed using openframeworks.
“Eufloria (formerly known as Dyson) is an ambient game of space exploration and conquest that employs surprising themes of plant growth and bio mechanical evolution.”
The game should be available via Steam on the 20th of October 2009, but there is also a free (pre-release version?) download option on the official (Dyson) page (after the jump).
Renaming it from Dyson to Eufloria might have had legal reasons, but it also suits the game far better.
Eufloria is also one of the finalists of the Independent Game Festival in San Francisco, California.
